I’m Elizabeth Klauder, founder, owner, and curator of Klauder Coastal Candles.

My love for candles began in childhood. I remember dipping my fingers into the warm, melted wax of my mother’s candles, shaping tiny creations, and becoming fascinated by the comfort and calm they brought. Ok, that simple joy stayed with me as life grew fuller and busier.

As an adult, raising children, managing responsibilities, and navigating overwhelming moments, candles became my refuge. Lighting a candle had a way of slowing time. The gentle flicker of the flame and the soothing scent could mysteriously transport me into a peaceful, relaxed state of mind. Candles were always my go-to for grounding my spirit.

Today, I’m semi-retired with more time, creative freedom, and a strong desire to share that same sense of calm with others. Klauder Coastal Candles was born from my passion for creating clean, healthy, beautifully crafted candles that friends, family, and anyone seeking peace can truly enjoy.

Each candle is crafted with luxurious apricot coconut wax, complemented by cotton and wood wicks for a clean, creamy burn. Every scent is thoughtfully curated and hand-mixed by me, sometimes with the joyful help of my grandchildren and family. I take great care to ensure all fragrance oils are certified clean, phthalate-free, and free of harmful additives.

My goal is simple: to create candles that transport you to your place of peace, while enhancing your home’s décor and atmosphere.
